Bring your Class out to adventure with us!

Penny Royal Adventures takes school bookings throughout the year when we are otherwise closed.

This gives us great flexibility to design an adventure to suite your class!

We offer a wide range of unique experiences that are educational and exhilarating!

From the adrenaline pumping adventures high up on hte cliff, to our fascinating Tasmanian history based boat rides and ground based adventures, we have someething for everybody.

Adults participate at child prices!

Minimum number of students: 7

Cliff activity regulations: Min height: 120cm; Min age: 7 years; Min age (rock climbing) 5 years; Max weight: 120kg

Adventure Pass

$45/child (quantity discounts apply). Normally for ages 7 and up. Children under 10 require an adult to do the cliff walk.

Time: 2hrs (depending on number of participants).

  • Fly on our 100 metre long, scenic zip-line that propels you over the entire complex.
  • Ride our short, fast zip line past our 30m waterfall.
  • Take on our picturesque cliff walk.
  • Tackle the daring 20m jump off our cliff.
  • Enjoy an hour of rock climbing on our natural rock face.

Booking is essential for this package due to cliff activities running on hourly session times.

History Pass

$39/child (quantity discounts apply). Normally for ages 5 and up. Children under 7 require an adult on the Brig Tamar cruise.

Time: 2hrs (depending on number of participants).

  • Travel back to 1825 on the Matthew Brady Dark Ride.
  • Cruise the lagoon on the Brig Tamar with our Captain! Explore Sarah Island and meet ghosts of the past.
  • Enjoy gold panning, gemstone fossicking in our mine.
  • Walk the barefoot sensation!
